Student Council Elections 2020

Being positive in a negative is not naïve, it’s “Leadership”.
Despite the current situation, Sanskriti envisions that each student’s schooling experience should not be marred by the pandemic. To give them a sense of normal during these times, we have decided to conduct activities online as it was done every year. The first set of activities kickstarted with the ‘Student Council Elections 2020’. The nominations started online from 11th July. Candidates from 9 & 10 were invited to participate for the positions of House Captains and Vice House Captains. Grade 11 contested for Vice Head Boy & Head Girl positions and finally Grade 12 contested for Head Boy & Head Girl. From 11th July to 22nd July, has been an eventful experience for all Sanskritians, with campaigning to panel discussions and thereon including a special activity called “ Student’s ki Adaalat” a show for Head- Boy & Head-Girl. All campaigns and discussions happened online and were witnessed by members of the school and parents alike. 20th July, the online voting was conducted with great enthusiasm. 21st July, during the exit polls, many students expressed their views and predicted the results. On 22nd July, the final results were announced on the school’s various social media platform.
This virtual student council elections is the first of the many activities that Sanskriti plans to host in the coming months.
